Caroline McCready has been teaching art, meditation and creative practices since 2011. Her workshops, classes and guided meditations focus on nurturing inner potential, personal and creative insight.
Caroline’s meditation teaching practice is based on a cross-cultural approach and draws from Eastern and Western meditation traditions. Her guided meditations are inspired by over a decade of personal practice and experience from teaching thousands of students at hundreds of workshops, retreats and meditation classes. When teaching art and creativity, she uses all of her experience to nurture creativity from the inside out, bringing a lot of fun into the process teaching art both on a technical, practical level as well as encouraging learning through mindful awareness, curiosity and playful exploration.
Caroline received a BA honours degree in the History of Art from the University of Warwick and then a postgraduate SQC in Psychology from Oxford Brookes University. She also trained for a year in Figurative Drawing at the Julian Ashton Fine Art in Sydney and subsequently studied Figurative Sculpture for two years at the Julian Ashton in London and worked as a painter for several years during which time she studied Eastern and Western meditation practices, before turning her hand to teaching and writing.
Caroline is the co-author of ‘Lucid Dreaming Plain and Simple: Tips and Techniques for Insight, Creativity and Personal Growth’ with Robert Waggoner and has published several meditation albums.
